Customer: Midwestern manufacturer of industrial controls
Challenge: To design and deliver a prototype printed circuit board assembly from a napkin concept to a finished product in just four days.
Solution: Our engineering services team, using a schematic that was hastily-sketched on a cocktail napkin, was asked to build a prototype of a new printed circuit board to control the cooling system of a major commercial building. The job, which would normally take a minimum of several weeks under normal circumstances, was completed and delivered to the customer in just four days. While we dont normally recommend such tight time frames, our customers find it comforting to know we can respond to their needs on such short notice.
Benefits: Our ability to move quickly helped the customer dramatically reduce time-to- market saving them money and providing them with a competitive edge. |
