Employment Benefits

AESCO Electronics, Inc. provides a variety of benefits for its full-time regular employees. Such benefits include:

Health Plan

Hospitalization and medical insurance is offered through a group plan which combines hospital, major medical, prescription drugs and group term life insurance coverage. Our provider and maintains an excellent network of physicians and hospitals throughout the United States. Two options are currently available, a traditional plan and a plan which incorporates Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). Voluntary dental, dependent and additional life, AD&D and short term disability insurances are also offered.

401k Retirement Plan

A 401K Plan is a voluntary savings/retirement plan where employees have the ability to elect to defer part of their wages in the form of a pre-tax contribution to the plan. An employee can begin to participate in the Plan after one (1) year of employment and average 20 working hours each week. An employee must also be 21 years of age. AESCO matches a portion of each employee contribution.

Sick/Personal Time

We allow regular full-time employees up to five days per calendar year as paid time for illness or personal time off. The intent of this benefit is to provide continuing pay for occasional illness or personal needs.

Vacation Time

Paid vacation is allowed, dependent on years of service.

Health and Accident Policy

AESCO provides a weekly benefit for up to twelve weeks when an employee is disabled by either a non-occupational accident or disease not covered by the Workman's Compensation Law. All full-time employees who have been employed one year or longer are covered by this policy. The employee must be under the care of a doctor, but does not necessarily have to be confined.
