Job Summary: Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all machines within the SMT Department, including but not limited to the Screen Printer, Pick & Place and Reflow Oven. Must be able to operate the SMT line efficiently and meet or exceed IPC Class II standards.

Specific Duties and Responsibilites:

• Prepares SMT equipment for production including loading programs, set up of printer, loading feeders and conveyor adjustments.
• Builds SMT assemblies utilizing visual aids, Bills of Materials (B.O.M.’s) and work instructions. Some hand placement, up to 20mil pitch, may be necessary.
• Monitors all SMT equipment for accuracy and proper operation. Makes minor adjustments if necessary to maintain quality.
• Maintains set PM schedule and logs for all SMT equipment. Performs calibrations when required.

• Works within a team environment and performs training when necessary.

• Participates in continuous improvement and process validations.

Prerequisites:
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
• Computer knowledge a must. Including some of the following: Windows 3.11, 95, 98, NT4.0 & XP.
• Component marking and polarity recognition
• High level of mechanical ability.

Summary:  Ensure that the division’s sales and profit goals are met by increasing our customer base with companies that fit our customer profile and by increasing our business with existing customers.  Fill our customers’ needs quickly, cheerfully and completely as well as possible.

Essential Duties Responsibilities include the following. 
•  quote customer price and lead time on cable assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies and box builds
•  coordinate activities with purchasing, engineering and production to ship customer quality product on time.
•  work with outside sales to increase overall sales and satisfy customer’s requirements for product and quotes
•  Build relationships with customers
•  Troubleshoot customer credit issues
•  Enter customer orders into computer system
•  Review customer backlog and inform of any problems meeting delivery dates.

We require 2-5 years experience in inside sales plus strong Microsoft Office skills including proficiency in Excel.
