Summary
To perform a variety of tasks required to audit a product or assembly for each step in the manufacturing process according to IPC workmanship standards, while assuring accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties Responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.
- Performs an AQL sampling audit on the product being produced.
- Performs basic test techniques using Cirrus test fixtures.
- Verify product is being built to the latest engineering revision level.
- Work with manufacturing coworkers on solving quality issues as needed.
- Collect related components and assemblies listed on sales order and deliver to shipping.
- Interface directly with related departments as questions/ issues arise.
- Employ problem solving techniques within work team to eliminate bottlenecks and roadblocks to successful operation.
- Propose ideas for continuous improvement in quality and manufacturing processes.
- Practice total commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and adhere to all ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
Graduation from a two year technical program and/or college, or 3 years experience in electronic inspection techniques.
Knowledge, Ability and Skill
Soldering-IPC Certification,Computer skills,MSDS,familiar with SPC techniques, ESD protection. Familiarization with principals of electronics, reading schematics, assembly drawings and mechanical drawings. The ability to work independently without supervision, problem solving and communications with others is a must.
